跟新世相刷屏学10个英文热词

今天朋友圈被新世相的课程刷了屏，一开始是无数小伙伴转发、购买、加群，等到中午的时候就出现二维码屏蔽、APP无法现在等问题，用户体验大打折扣，甚至引来了微信官方的屏蔽声明，一天之内剧情180°大反转，吃瓜群众除了感慨这一刷屏案例的套路深之外，还有没有其他的收获呢？

当然有！

今天这篇文章，就通过新世相刷屏事件，来掌握10个网络时代的英语热词，赶快学起来吧！

刷屏

“刷屏”主要有3中说法：

第一种是status updates, status是指“状态”，updates是指“更新”，连在一起指的是短时间发布相同或类似内容，即“刷屏”；

第二种是go viral, viral是“病毒引起的”，go+形容词表示某种状态，连起来就是指“像病毒一样传播”→“扩散很快”→“刷屏”；

第三种是spam，本意是垃圾邮件，My Gmail inbox is full of spam. 我的Gmail邮箱中全是垃圾邮件。

2. 转发

这个词比较简单，会用到派生法“前缀”re-，后面加动词表示“再一次”、“重复”的意思；“发状态”的英文是post, 转发别人的状态就是repost；

3. 二维码

加群、加好友、支付、买票等等，二维码已经无处不在。

其实它的英文很简单，QR code就是“二维码”了；QR 是英文quick response两个单词的缩写，意思是“快速反应”；code是“编码”的意思，直译是“快速反应码”，非常符合二维码方便的特点；

“你可以扫二维码加我好友”英文就是：You could friend me by scanning my QR code.这里的friend“朋友”是当动词用的，相当的地道；

4. 线上社群

扫描二维码之后，会拉你进到一个新世相的微信群，“微信群”的英文是Wechat group；

5. 加群

“加微信群”就是add to Wechat group；“退群”的微信官方英文是“delete and leave”，口语说法说成quit the group就可以了；

6. 退款

对服务不满意可以退款，这个“退款”可以用refund来表达；比如这次群友对网络课程感到不满，要求退款的话，可以说：We are not satisfied with the online lessons and ask for a refund.

7. 分销

这次刷屏之所以能够覆盖面这么广，是因为通过分销机制把宣传跟每一个分享过课程二维码的网友连接在了一起，课程随时涨价，分享的人也能获得分成，这种“分销”的英文叫做distribution sale， “分销商”叫做distribution agency;

8. 屏蔽

后来因为大规模刷屏，引起了腾讯官方的注意，并进行了屏蔽处理，"屏蔽"官方英文是"cannot be accessed"，但如果是"拉黑"某个人，则是用block这个词，比如"我拉黑了前女友"I blocked my ex-girlfriend.

9. 榜单

新世相为了鼓励大家分享，还特意做了一个榜单，分享人数最多的人可以上榜，"榜单"英文是rank，"考试排名第一"可以说I ranked first in the exam.

10. 反思

网友的注意力轮换非常快，很可能明天就没人再谈论新世相这次活动了。那么事件过去后，“反思”总结能够从活动中获得什么启示，就显得至关重要了。

“反思”英文是reflection, 由动词reflect演变而来的名词形式，本意是镜子、玻璃、水面等反光，引申为重做一遍之前的事，目的在于找到亮点和不足，便于给下次活动参考。
